Hortus Conclusus is a Latin term for “enclosed garden”. This term refers to paintings of the virgin Mary sitting in a garden. This publication captures the  adorned Renaissance style with dark jeweled tones and illuminated drop cases. I took creative liberty with my own digital collages to further illustrate the meaning of Hortus Conclusus.
